What you'll get to do...
In this multifaceted role, you will be working directly with the founders bringing the product vision to life, and working closely with your team to help them grow, all while executing your own product deliverables.
Product vision & strategy
- Translate the company's product vision and business objectives into a product strategy and roadmap, executed on time and on budget.
- Move the needle from 0 to 1, not letting the ambiguity of the situation stop you from achieving your goals and making an impact
- Advocate for the product vision across the company
- Be market obsessed, understand the competitor landscape and industry trends, and use these insights to inform your strategic decisions along the way.
- Be customer-driven. You are the “go-to” expert for understanding customer needs and are always looking for deeper insights, ensuring a user experience-centred approach
Product ops
- Plan, execute and deliver product discovery
- Run product analytics and anchor decisions in data. Using data insights to evaluate and inform the story you tell
- Build customer insights by reaching out and speaking to customers during various launch phases and beyond. You use those deep insights to effectively create the best possible value for HiPeople
- Able to structure discussions and create/clarify strategy within ambiguous areas
