We've been working hard on gender diversity in the last few years, itβs gone through ups and downs. At the beginning of 2021, we had only 1 member identifying as female out of about 6/7 total employees. By 2023 & 2024 we had achieved nearly 40% gender equality but by 2025 this number has fallen to 28%. Itβs far from where weβd like this to be (and diversity is more than gender) and it shows we again need to be deliberate in our targeting and hiring efforts.
Where we shine: in 2025 nearly 40% of the team identifies as Black or Brown. Spanning the globe and bringing their experiences to HiPeople. π
