The role:

We are looking for a Data Science Intern to join our science team. The successful candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the psychology team to identify relevant research questions and data-driven opportunities.
• Assisting in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing tasks to ensure high data quality.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations in psychological data.
• Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models
• Supporting the team in visualizing and presenting data-driven findings to key stakeholders.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of data-driven experiments and research studies.
• Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in data science methodologies and their application in psychology.

Requirements:

• MUST: be enrolled in a German university and be eligible for a mandatory internship
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Ability to take responsibility for a specific project and manage it to completion
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to contact people and build relationships
